ok, no 2 day thread.  

i can do this saturday, and am open to ideas.  let's consolidate this her, and sunday kids are on their own!

I would be in for either day, but whatever I do I need to stay somewhat local.  I have a very reliable diagnosis on the bike, but in order to test it out and ensure that was really the problem I need to remain in the general LA vicinity (as opposed to OC).   In some respects I'm actually looking to duplicate the problem so I can apply the fix if you will.

If everyone wants to head down to the OC area I'll just stay around here on my own

Oh yeah, and I need to pick up my bike Saturday morning.  I'm going to try for Friday night, but given that I've been working 12-14 hour days this week, its just probably not going to happen.

I have to work one day this weekend. I'd love to try Ortega on Saturday. We can start late to accomodate April and end the ride with a delicious meal at Tulsa Rib or perhaps Shabu Shabu at the Block.  No problem if the group decides to ride near LA on Saturday. I'll likely ride on Sunday rather than Saturday in that event.

I was gonna ride today in Malibu, but got the weather report for 15-20mph winds, so made the last minute decision to ride Saturday (no winds forecasted).

If you, and/or anyone else wants to hook up a ride Saturday morning around 9am, let's hear it.  Uh-oh, is this a thread hi-jack?  If so, i'll start a new thread.

Let me know if you want me to pick up your bike from the shop today (day off) so you can pick it up later tonight.  Having your truck in this area Saturday morning for a Malibu ride might be a good idea, just in case...you know.

Picking up the bike might be a good idea.......  but either way I'll have to get to the south bay to drive it home.  I'm thinking about leaving it at the shop tonight, and picking it up tomorrow and heading out with you at 9.... I'll keep you update.  Sry for the thread split

Had a great ride today with Ian, my girlfriend dropped me off at the shop, met up with Ian, then went PCH Up to Neptunes net, then mulholland to rock store, turn around because mulholland is closed after that, head down...  C something?  K something? some street.   Through the tunnel, Back to PCH, back to shop for bolts they forgot into the back fairing (no big deal).

Had a great time, and when I was pciking up the bike I ran into Ben Affleck. He was buying a brand new shiny 1300 Hayabusa.  All in all memorable day.
