the age old question:  where do we go and who is interested?

i thought going toward temecula again might be a good thing, or perhaps towards ojai.

 What about Sunday taking the 210 and going north on the Mountain exit, and then going up to Mt. Baldy village?

I do that ride now and again, and it's a good one.

There's a little bit of gravel here and there on the road still, but much better on the whole.

30/30--is that the road that goes north from asuza, that deadends?  if so, isnt that kind of a short ride?

I was going to cruise to Chaparral Motorsports with my neighbor who just picked up a 1999 F4 on Sunday, why not make it a gear run as well?

No, you are thinking of Azusa canyon, which is closed.

From the 210 to the ski lifts (end of the road) is about 13 miles.

If the Glendora Ridge road is open (was closed the last time I was there 1/22) that will take you from the Baldy Village to Azusa Canyon. Thats about 45 miles from the 210 in Upland to the 210 in Azusa.

I would be in for this on Sunday as long as its early.

I live just below the exit for Glendora Mountain Road, and it is all blocked off. They won't even let you walk up there.

What about taking the 15 to the 14, and then to the 138, and then back down to the 5? Does that all connect?  

Shoot, I just remembered I have to work on Sunday. That takes me out of the running. Busy Saturday.

Like they have said, nope it ain't that road. Wish they will open it soon. I would do azusa canyon every week in the morning. So sad it is closed and supposedly will not open until after June/July ?!? !?

Edit: Oh yea, I might be in for something on sunday, not too sure yet.

I can't ride on Saturday, I have fund raising function at my daughter's school. I have to set-up art work during the day and party during the evening. Sunday looks like a ride day for me. I think that many roads will be free of heavy traffic because of the Super Bowl, so let me know. I'd like a long ride.............300+ miles. But, less is fine with me.
