I'm in touch with Ian via email.  He's just not a big poster.  But he knows of the site here :)

I didn't mean to be MIA.  I've been quite busy with the holidays and my early December vacation.

With the rain almost every day, or the streets around my house still very wet on the days it hasn't been raining, I haven't ridden since December 24.  That was a fun ride though - I took Butters all the way up to Santa Barbara and back with a side trip through Ojai.

I should have disregarded the weather forecast and gone riding on January 1 in Pasadena.   I should have known better that to believe it would rain there on that day of the year.

In 2005, I'm looking forward to getting a bigger bike.  I set some prerequisites for myself to make sure I feel ready to do that safely - before I do that I'm going to clock 6,000 miles total on Butters (I'm at about 3,100 now) and take the MSF class again to make sure that I'm not getting lazy about my skills because my bike is so easy to push around.

I didn't find this board until a few days ago.  But I'll be doing a sun dance everyday and looking forward to more group rides.

Hi Jef!!!  Great to see you around again!
I'm not totally useless; I can be used as a bad example.

I'm not your type.  I'm not inflatable.

Therapy is expensive. Popping bubble wrap is cheap. You choose.

uh oh

i owe jc an apology.  my bad--i wsa thinking of th long lost jeff jacobsen and our pierced jeff.

i was focusing on lost members, and didnt think of diapragm challenged jc-jeff.

that omission will be good for a 100.00 reduction when you buy my sv someday!!!
