Mike asked me to issue this invitation to the MOs.  Might be a good time to learn to change your own oil (me).

This looks like a cool opportunity to learn some maintenance stuff.  Its too early for me to post yes yet, but Mike's a very cool guy and I'd love to bring something for the grill  ;D

O and I are going to this event.  I now plan to change the oil and clean the chain after yesterday's ride.

I'm hearing rain for Sat. If its raining I'm definatly out. Even if its not I may still have stuff to get done on Sat. I should know by tomorrow night

Well, this is all I'm going to say.  The bike is immaculate.  The chain is spotless.  The oil has been changed.  The oil filter is safety wired.  Mike and Owen did most of the work.  Unfortunately, I whacked my head into one of the handle bars early on and wasn't much help after that.  With the exception of the safety wire application, I think I could perform the other maintenance in the future.  Kind of messy though.
