New members: Introduce yourselves here!

(1/48) > >>

JC:
Hi new folks!   Its come to our attention that we can be a little bit of an overwhelming group  ;)   This is partially because so many of us have ridden together so often this past year; we may come across as extremely close knit  :)   But we always love meeting new people, whether it be here on the board or on one of our numerous events.  So on that note...

Introduce yourselves so we can get the chance to meet you!!   Here's your thread, now you have no excuse ;)  Tell us how long you've been riding, what you ride, a bit about yourself, and how you found us!

Ride safe!

Cmon new folks!  :bitchslap:

TERRIE:
Hi,

I'm Terrie,  I know many of you already as I have attended dinners and close to home rides.  I haven't ridden long, a couple of years but, not as frequently as you all ride.  I started on a Honda 250 and now have a Honda Shadow 750 (This is not a sport bike for those who don't recognize it)!!

That's about it, don't have much patience on the computer so I may not be a poster, but I will check in.

Thanks Jeff for getting me activated!!

Hawkster:
Welcome to our little corner of the net, Terrie.

Looking forward to the next ride.

Be safe,

Jeff

Ok, I'm new to this board and motorcycle riding as a driver.   :sport-smiley:

I met a couple of your peeps this last weekend and this board has been recommended as a NON-KATTY board.

I'm a female rider and have been on my own bike for a little over a year.  I'm on my third bike in that years time starting off with a Honda VTR250 Intercepter (Nov 04 - Dec 04), moved to a Suzuki GS500f (Dec 04 - Dec 05) and just started riding my Suzuki GSXR1000.   :thumb:

I ride with my husband who has been riding since boyhood and he is currently riding a Suzuki Hayabusa GSXR1300.  Between his coaching and Skillz Days I have been doing well on this bike.  It is a LOT of bike and could be very dangerous.  However, I'm taking my time on it and working very hard on the basics to be smooth and to react smoothly on it.

I'm looking forward to more rides this year and for every opportunity to improve my skills.  I hope to see you all on the road and to join in some group rides.
