I could only find the Double Bubble through ZG. ZG did not have stock on hand and it took about 10 days to produce and have it delivered to my door.
Installation was simple so I won't go into the details. To install, I removed the mirros, unscrewed the upper fairing and pulled it forward just enough so that I could reach the nuts that secure the windscreen.
I ordered the ZG DB because I wanted a taller windscreen for freeway riding and windy days. Crouching below the OEM windscreen was tiring and I find with the ZG DB I don't have to press up against the tank to enjoy the benefits of the windscreen. The ZG DB is slightly taller than the OEM windscreen. Also, the bubble portion of the ZG is shaped to force air to move vertically over your head. To see a side by side photo with the OEM click the link above and then select Comparison PHOTO (small underlined 1 to the right side of the page). I went with clear because I wanted to be able to see through the windscreen when I was ducked behind it. For my tastes, the OEM dark smoke windscreen is difficult to see through at night.
The fit on mine was perfect. The screw holes were where they should be. Initially you will think otherwise but after installing the center two screws the ZG DB will flatten and press up against the fairing.
The optics are excellent and it looks good.
One interesting note, the ZG DB is about half the thickness of the OEM.
