Who needs a cheap track day truck?
« on: June 26, 2011, 12:58:00 AM »
I finally got a replacement for the Ranger.  Anyone wanna buy it off me on the cheap?  Friend discount goes a long way.

It's a 1998 Ranger Super Cab, v4, 5-speed, no power anything.  Gray, some dents, steering pump is making a sound.  There will probably be a smokey, tobacco-ey aroma in the truck that probably won't go away for a long time.  Other than that, it's been good to me.  KBB says 2,300 for private party.  It'll be way less than that.  I'll think about the price for a little while, but if anyone's interested or knows of anyone interested, let me know.

I'd post of picture of my purchase, but I'm too lazy to copy it onto the laptop.

Thanks Bill.  It was actually the cheap option.  With the friend discount, I got it for less than I paid for the truck.  It's an automatic, but I really can't complain.  It was just too good of a deal to pass up.

Thanks guys.  I'm pretty happy with the new car so far.  It's just so much easier to live with than the truck.

Are you still working over by me? We should go to lunch one of these days so you can take me for a ride!

Or you can stop by our office at lunch today to eat from the bacon truck.

Very nice Patrick!

Thanks Camille.  I think I might already have a buyer for the truck.  Sure, I'm selling for next to nothing.  Still surprised that there's interest in my beater of a truck.
