JC is back!

I thought I already replied but I seem to be confused.  :dunno:

Good luck on the bar! I have another friend studying for this one too. Absolutely get the beast up and running and come out for a ride!
I need the sunshine in the morning, I'm heading for the open road.

Alberto helped me get my bike running again last night.  Thanks man!  Now I need to get my feel back for the riding.
...

Was surprised it only really needed a fresh battery and could use some new gas.
That license plate bulb must of been out for a while since it usually burns out when riding over bumpy roads.

That battery is so dead but I managed to get some sign of life from it.
I tried some stuff with it and got it up from 1 volt up to 4.6 volts but wouldn't budge.
Forced some distilled water in it, even though it is a maintenance free design, and got it up to almost 9.5 volts.

I am not even trying to check how many amps it is storing until I get it up to 11volts and really start restoring its capacity.
It seems to be heavily sulfated and put it on a new BatteryMINDer I got and it is slowly steadying it out but it is only at a solid 2.5 volts and climbing after leaving it for a couple of hours.  Had to trick the BatteryMINDer to see the dead battery by using another charger to get it doing its thing.

Might take a month to get it usable maybe or maybe won't ever work again and off to recycle.

I just want to see if I can bring it back to life, eventually, while just playing around to see what might work.
