Pulled the trigger
« on: April 21, 2008, 10:30:28 AM »
I did it.  I ordered the RX-7 Corsair.  I think I have impulse control issues.   :o

Is that a car?, or an airplane?, or a motorcycle? Oh wait - I'll bet it's a HELMET! (Rays comment re Cammie gave it away :D).

Corsair = both airplane and helmet.

So I just need to buy an airplane, and I'll have had owned the helmet, plane, and car!

Corsairs had a tendency to unexpectedly roll left at low speeds (particularly during landings).  In extreme cases, the plane would end up landing upside down.   Ask my grandfather how he knows  :o

Moral of the story: keep the rubber side down.   ;D

I shudder to think that Patrick even briefly considered riding his NEW BIKE in his NEW LEATHERS with an OLD HELMET!  In a situation such as this, I think a new helmet was practically a necessity. :D

Yeah! What were you thinking using that nasty old helmet?

See, I didn't know it was a plane as well. Bill's comment is even funnier now that I get it.
